Job Overview
The Academic Administration Department is a key support function at our institution, responsible for delivering essential services across the student lifecycle. This department comprises various units, ensuring that every aspect of student administration is efficient, accurate and aligned with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer enquiries and engaging with current learners.
- Support the development and delivery of effective orientation programs for international students.
- Build strong relationships between departments, faculties and support areas to improve the student experience.
- Contribute to the conversion of course registrations to course commencement through the implementation of enrolment policies and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office and enrolment administration within complex environments, including TAFE; skilled in managing competing priorities and working both independently and in teams.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in a culturally sensitive manner.
- High-level technical competence in Microsoft Office and database systems, particularly student management systems.
- Sound knowledge of enrolment policies, office procedures, and cross-cultural communication.
- Diploma-level qualification in business or administration, or significant relevant experience.
Working Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires obtaining a valid Police Check and an 'employee' Working with Children Check.
