Animal Care Specialist

A dynamic animal care position is available, requiring a dedicated individual to provide top-notch care for dogs and cats.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting individual animal needs. Key responsibilities include monitoring and caring for dogs, maintaining a pristine kennel environment, and performing maintenance tasks on the property.
This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly through on-the-job training, and a genuine love for animals.
Responsibilities- Care for dogs of various sizes, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe kennel environment.
- Perform tasks such as laundry, cleaning, gardening, and related duties.
We seek an individual with excellent multitasking skills, reliability, flexibility, and a valid driver's license. Initiative to complete tasks independently and as part of a team is also essential.
Able to lift and/or move up to 20kg occasionally. Attention to detail to recognize and report health or behavioral issues among our animals.
Work DetailsThis is a permanent part-time position with flexible hours. No weekend penalty rates apply, as we operate under an EBA.
