Senior Cookware Category Manager

As a seasoned category buyer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting their needs in the cookware category. Your focus will be on understanding customers, their requirements, and their store experiences.
About the PositionThis senior position within our organization focuses on building strong internal relationships to drive success. You will work closely with product developers to create excellent product ranges that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan product ranges with merch planners to ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Analyze insights and trends to determine which products to introduce or discontinue.
- Develop promotional programs 12 months in advance to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with online and visual merchandising teams to achieve sales results.
- Review sales reports daily and weekly, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Present sales performance updates and plans in weekly meetings.
- Understand the product mix and consumer behavior to inform buying decisions.
- Assist in stock management with a planner to ensure efficient inventory levels.
- 3-5 years of experience in product development or buying roles.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in decision-making.
- Must be self-driven and able to use initiative when needed to drive results.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
