As a Cook at Goodstart, you will be responsible for crafting wholesome and appetizing meals that support the growth and development of children. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts and dedication to high standards will significantly enhance the daily experiences of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being of children by preparing meals that accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Utilize your creativity and organizational abilities to design menus and procure food supplies in collaboration with the Centre Director.
  • Uphold rigorous food safety standards by maintaining hygiene in the storage, handling, and preparation of food and beverages.

About Goodstart ANU:

Our early learning centre, accommodating 112 children, is situated on the Australian National University campus in Canberra, conveniently located at the northern entry point to the University.

Qualifications Required:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant experience in a childcare environment.
