About the Role

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Partner to join our Centre Support Team. As a critical enabler of our practice uplift goals, you will play a key role in coaching and advising centre teams to deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences for all children, including those with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality coaching and advice to centre teams on teaching and learning practices
  • Work with select centres to implement Quality Improvement Plan actions and build sustainable teaching and learning capabilities
  • Support the implementation of Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRS), National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and other learning frameworks
  • Maintain expert knowledge of QRS, NQF, NQS, EYLF, and Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) practices
  • Collaborate with the Teaching and Learning for All Children team to develop and implement practice uplift initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional specialists to co-design and monitor continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure thorough knowledge and proactive response to Child Protection Law matters
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to support safety outcomes across the state
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university
  • Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
  • Strong understanding of the Assessment and Rating (A&R) process and the Exceeding Themes
  • Experience in delivering high-quality training to centre-based teams
  • Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State-based approved/recognised learning guidelines, and the National Quality Standard
  • Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills
