Reliability Specialist Job Summary

The organization is seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to maximize equipment reliability and availability onsite.

  • This role involves condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, equipment evaluation, and fault mitigation to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives in producing high-quality lithium at optimal cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and managing the site's reliability-centered maintenance program for rotating and mechanical equipment.
  • Developing and optimizing condition monitoring strategies for asset integrity.
  • Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.
  • Evaluating equipment performance, damage, and failure rates to inform decision-making.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and investigations into equipment failures.
  • Engineering solutions to address equipment malfunctions or degraded performance.
  • Collaborating with OEMs and external contractors on equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Developing work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.
  • Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Assisting in the development of Mechanical Engineers and Maintenance Technicians.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' professional experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment within a processing environment.
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
  • Understanding of condition monitoring techniques.
  • Skills in root cause analysis and equipment failure investigation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
