Job Description

Quality Assurance Manager:

Rhino Rack is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality function and ensure our products meet all necessary requirements.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a quality assurance role, and a tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Develop and review specifications for products or processes.
  • Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products and monitor supplier compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and legal obligations.
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
  • Approve products or reject defectives.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to deliver quality products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience in creating, interpreting, and analysing technical procedures, analytics reports, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work as part of a team or autonomously.
  • Internal and external audit experience.
  • Safety experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Certification in quality control (ISO 9000 etc.) is a strong advantage.
