About this role

We're looking for a driven and capable professional who builds strong relationships and brings experience in commercial construction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining proactive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Preparing subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Planning actions and completing documentation aligned with the Head Contract, raising discrepancies early.
  • Taking ownership of costs and budget outcomes, maintaining current knowledge of project financials.
  • Supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager to determine effective RFI management processes with subcontractors.
  • Ensuring project document control meets contract requirements, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Developing budget targets, identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes with the Project Manager.
  • Managing cost control software (Jobpac), including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding invoices.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive outcomes.
  • Influence and build commercially beneficial relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Act decisively with problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience working for a commercial builder delivering projects similar in size and nature.
