Job Title: Secondary Teacher

Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified secondary teacher to join our team as a full-time, fixed-term teacher.

The successful applicant will have excellent pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative and student-centred approach, promoting student wellbeing and pastoral care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing a differentiated teaching/learning programme, including thinking skills and inquiry-based learning that engages all learners.
  • Using assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
  • Displaying excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Integrating digital technologies to enrich teaching and learning experiences.
  • Working collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and enhance one's own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the College.
  • Ledding by taking on roles within the College and being involved in extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications required include:

  • Relevant 4-year tertiary qualifications.
  • Current registration as a teacher with the relevant board.
  • A working with children check.
  • Accreditation to teach in a school or willingness to obtain.
