About the Role

South Coast Baptist College seeks a dedicated and highly skilled educator to join its dynamic Health and Physical Education (HPE) team. As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences that cater to the needs of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, promoting student understanding and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and assessments, ensuring alignment with the College's Christian values and ethos.
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Degree in Education or a related field.
  • TRBWA registration and recognized teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrated success in teaching HPE at the secondary school level.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to adapt to changing educational requirements.
  • A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
