Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced educator to fill the role of a Secondary English Teacher at our esteemed institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 7-12, including ATAR and General English classes.

The ideal applicant will have a passion for inspiring a love of learning in their students, particularly teenagers. They should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and appropriate educational qualifications and experience at a Secondary School level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating English extension and challenge classes for able Primary students;
  • Engaging with students to teach a variety of writing styles and literacy genres;
  • Actively supporting the college's ethos and values.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold:

  • Current registration with the relevant teaching authority;
  • A current Working with Children Check and WA Police Clearance.
