Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate digital initiatives that enhance underwriting efficiency, broker engagement, and service delivery across liability insurance products.

  • Define and drive the digital product vision and roadmap for underwriting platforms and tools.
  • Collaborate with operations, technology, data teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.

As a Digital Team Leader for the Liability Team, you will be responsible for managing digital workflows, supporting underwriters with technology-driven solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with platforms like Steadfast Client Trading Platform.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years relevant product specific experience, relevant insurance qualifications through fellowship/associateship or equivalent, and previous management experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage digital workflows and ensure underwriting practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of underwriters and analysts to achieve performance and service excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-trust team culture.
  • Track team performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround times are consistently met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Must Possess:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant product specific experience
  • Relevant insurance qualifications through fellowship/associateship or equivalent
  • Previous management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of underwriting process, risk assessment, and digital transformation
  • Strong understanding of portfolio steering within digital workflow
  • Ability to provide professional-level service to intermediaries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
