Role Overview

The Logistics Care Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless customer experiences by proactively resolving logistics-related complaints, providing transparency on backorders, and efficiently managing customer returns across the order-to-payment journey. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their careers in logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively address customer care notifications and feedback related to logistics to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Process returns and collaborate with the warehouse team to complete activities timely.
  • Effectively utilize systems to record actions taken and identify characteristics of orders that may fail.
  • Communicate effectively on back-order management.
  • Provide support to account managers on logistics-related inquiries.
  • Develop strong partnerships with materials management, transportation, and warehouse teams.
  • Build trust with field sales to enhance account manager productivity and reduce inbound calls from the field.
  • Handle emails in a timely manner.
  • Support the training of new team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Functional knowledge of logistics processes.
  • Solid knowledge of related business processes (i.e., product portfolio management).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities and make decisions.
