Project Leadership Opportunity

This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional leadership skills to deliver high-quality projects from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced project manager with a strong track record of delivering complex projects within budget and timeframe.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing comprehensive project programmes, communicating them to the team, and ensuring construction programmes are followed and deliver on project quality to programme.
  • Additionally, you will identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required, manage project expenditure and cash flow, management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects, design management, manage subcontractors on site, and manage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the project.
  • Finally, you will produce progress reports, deliver and manage client expectations, and drive business growth through effective stakeholder management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar, with minimum 5-15 years' experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 background.
  • You will need to demonstrate proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high-quality projects, previous experience delivering greenfield projects, detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standards, strong planning and project financial reporting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Furthermore, you will need to possess a Construction Safety Induction (white) card and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
