Maintenance Fitter Opportunity

A dynamic position has become available for an experienced maintenance professional to take on a key role in our operations.

This role is primarily responsible for attending to plant and equipment breakdowns, completing scheduled routine preventative maintenance, and providing technical assistance within a continuous improvement environment to optimize manufacturing processes.

About the Role
  • Attend to plant and equipment breakdowns
  • Complete scheduled routine preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical assistance in a continuous improvement environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain machinery to prevent downtime
  • Carry out routine checks to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter & Machinist
  • Industrial maintenance experience on fixed plant machinery
  • Steel and plate fabrication experience
  • Forklift ticket
  • Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineering drawings
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding ability
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Work at Heights Certificate
  • Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect Licence
  • Confined Space Certificate
