The general practice operates on a part-time schedule, working 3 days per week and is co-located with the hospital, providing coverage for emergency department presentations between 8am and 6pm. After hours coverage is provided by nearby towns and a supportive nursing team.

The hospital has 3 emergency department beds, 3 acute care beds, and a 10-bed residential aged care ward. The role provides ongoing opportunities for locum work available from February to December 2025.
