General Practitioner Opportunity in Rural NSW

We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Practitioner to join our team in Walgett, NSW. As a GP in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a rural setting.

Job Description:

As a General Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to patients in Walgett and surrounding areas. This will include conducting consultations, performing routine check-ups, and managing chronic conditions.

  • General Registration with AHPRA
  • Strong Emergency Department skills
  • Interest in transitioning to General Practice and entering the GP pathway
  • Motivated to learn and develop skills

  • General Practice Billings: Average around $2,000 per day
  • On-Call Payments: $1,800 per day, with 161 days rostered annually = $289,800
