Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a General Practitioner/Emergency Medicine Specialist to fill a vacancy at our facility in Queensland.

This is a challenging role that involves working as a Senior Medical Officer with Access Level Standard (AST) in Obstetrics, Anaesthetics or Emergency Medicine. Other ASTs will be considered if the applicant has relevant experience in Emergency Department medicine.

The position requires applicants to work flexible 10-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with on-call duties occurring once every two or three days. Fatigue breaks and flexible practices are supported.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have General Specialist Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) or Rural Medicine (FACRRM). They must also have rural clinical experience, ALS certification, and an AST in one of the preferred areas.
