Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for intellectual property?

We are seeking an experienced Patent Administrator to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

As a key member of our Chemistry/Life Sciences team, you will provide administrative support to our outstanding patent attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our IP practice.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and proofreading correspondence and documents, uploading files to client portals, and liaising with IP Australia for document productions and lodgements.

Additionally, you will provide general administrative support, including diary management and arranging travel and meetings.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Experience as a legal secretary or administrator in intellectual property or a related field.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office, with fast typing and accuracy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • High accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
