A Day in the Life as a Cloud Technology Strategist

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting architecture solution frameworks at an enterprise and project/product level to drive our cross-functional software delivery approach. You will work closely with the Platform team to provide strategy & technology roadmap for future SG Fleet's cloud & hosted solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership in architecture, design, patterns, and practice to support the organisation's implementation of business systems across various software and infrastructure platforms.
  • Evolving group standards and best practices, supported by quality documentation catering to technical & business stakeholders including senior business management, technology leadership and solution delivery teams.
  • Working directly with solution delivery teams to provide expertise and guidance around architecture, focusing on utilising sgfleet group standards to deliver business outcomes.
  • Designing holistic solutions encompassing both public & private clouds, working across a breadth of software and infrastructure components.
  • Researching concepts, conducting special studies, developing proof-of-concepts based on various technologies to exploit new opportunities to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the solution delivery and innovation teams.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure solutions are manageable and maintainable, ultimately supporting the requirements to which they were designed.
  • Providing leadership, management, and mentoring to individuals, external vendors to achieve project outcomes.
