Join UTS Library to contribute to the design and implementation of innovative information services that support learning, teaching, and research. As a Graduate Librarian, you will work independently to investigate user and system requirements and draw upon high-level knowledge to assist stakeholders with complex enquiries or specialist services.Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and support projects involving changes related to Library functions which may impact on other areas of the institution
  • Contribute to and make best use of the collection of research and data analytics that support enhanced decision-making as part of continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external University stakeholders in order to collaborate and deliver comprehensive Library services
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for Professional membership of ALIA
  • Effective organisational and time management skills with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure, balancing multiple priorities to ensure goals are met, timelines are realised and outcomes are delivered in line with client expectations
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to a positive team environment and working collaboratively and independently to achieve department and Library goals
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills that enable engagement, collaboration and relationship building with all Library stakeholders in both face-to-face and online environments
  • Capacity to design and deliver information literacy and research support programs
Benefits:
  • Base Salary Range: $75,243 to $94,504 pa (HEW 5/6)
  • This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary
