Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Consultant to provide expert advice to departmental staff on statutory entity appointments, prepare high-level Cabinet and Executive Council documents for ministerial offices, deputy secretaries and the Secretary, and manage the probity process.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing complex briefings, documents and correspondence in relation to statutory appointments in the Justice portfolio.
  • Coordinating significant volumes of documents and information requests.
  • Working under pressure, in restricted timeframes.
  • Delivering exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of government and administrative processes.
  • Understanding of Cabinet, Executive Council and legislative processes.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
