Senior Nursing Manager

We are seeking a seasoned nursing professional to assume the role of Assistant Director of Nursing, overseeing the management and evaluation of nursing services in a psychiatric setting.
About the RoleThis position involves leading a team of nurses and direct care staff, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with established standards of nursing care.
- Lead the nursing department, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, monitoring progress and outcomes.
- A registered professional nurse license in New York State.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience, including 1 year at a supervisory level.
Substitution: Master's degree in nursing can substitute for 1 year of non-supervisory post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
