Job Title: Senior Nursing Lead

A dynamic and supportive work environment is available in a Residential Aged Care Facility in Perth, Australia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. They will also provide mentorship and professional development opportunities, foster a collaborative and positive work environment, and oversee patient care delivery to ensure high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee patient care delivery to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients' families to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or similar role.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and clinical experience in aged care working in a residential setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to train and mentor staff in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of AN-ACC and audits.
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee audits, clinical indicators, and ensure best practice.
