About The Role

Hansen Technologies is seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join our Brisbane-based team. As a key member of our onsite team, you will be responsible for driving success in the implementation and ongoing support of billing, meter asset management, and meter data management solutions for our client, Australia's largest electricity company.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of 5 years or more in a support, development, or technical analysis role, with large-scale commercial clients. You will be passionate about creating an impact for clients through impeccable service delivery. Your skills will include:

  • excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms.
  • experience in Java, Bash, and Perl scripting.
  • experience in API and adapter development, including use of REST and SOAP web services.
  • experience with source code and build management tools, preferably GIT, SVN, ANT, Maven, Jenkins, and BitBucket.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • working with clients to gather and document requirements, identifying business processes, interface formats, and data associated with developing technical solutions.
  • designing and developing production customizations, configuration changes, reports, interfaces, and scripts, including support for deployment of new versions into testing and production environments.
  • adhering to and enforcing processes and standards for updates and configuration changes required to supported client environments and systems.
  • monitoring and delivering key system processes, contracted SLA, and performance targets for the client in a fully SaaS-based solution.
  • working with software architects and business analysts to ensure technical requirements accurately reflect the business use case model and are reconciled with each other. Identify and report technical risks throughout the life of the project and provide mitigation strategies for those risks.
  • providing technical and product expertise to support the client's product configuration, data migration, acceptance testing, product integration, and incident resolution processes. Working with remote development centers on issue analysis and replication. Providing maintenance programming support.
