Protein Crystallisation Laboratory Manager

The Structural Biology Team has a long history of providing protein crystallisation services to the structural biology community. The team is seeking a Manager to oversee transitions in digital infrastructure and operating models while supporting standard experiments and developing new methods.
This role involves managing day-to-day laboratory tasks, performing experiments, ensuring equipment maintenance and troubleshooting issues. You will also engage with internal and external clients to plan and execute crystallisation and characterisation experiments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and perform day-to-day laboratory tasks
- Engage with clients to plan and execute crystallisation and characterisation experiments
- Manage resources of the crystallisation laboratory
- Assist with equipment commissioning, validation and re-validation
- Contribute to process development research and analysis
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in robotics or laboratory automation, programming, and project management. A PhD in a relevant field such as Structural Biology, Bioinformatics or Biophysics/Biochemistry is essential.
