Electrical Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced electrical design expert to join our team in Bendigo, Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be proficient in CAD software.

Job Description

The role of electrical design expert involves preparing and reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. You will also be responsible for developing CAD drawings for switchboard layouts and related systems, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.

Assisting with project estimation and costing across different market sectors, providing support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning processes, and working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions are all key aspects of this role.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related trade qualification.
  • Previous experience in electrical design, automation, or motor control.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PowerCAD, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to low-voltage switchboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
