About The RoleWe are seeking a Simulator Technician to join our team in Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team.
The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and experience working with simulators.
- Perform routine maintenance on simulators and related systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Conduct FAA ATG/QTG testing and visual alignments.
- Support engineering teams with design changes and software updates.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate records using our maintenance management system.
- Provide high-quality customer service and technical support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 2-year technical degree or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 3 years direct simulator experience with at least 1-year relative simulator experience per assigned location.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency with test equipment and simulator software tools.
- Experience with motion, visual, or aircraft systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
