Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Coordinator to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maximise event enquiries into confirmed bookings, up-selling wherever possible;
  • Coordinate events in an efficient and friendly manner;
  • Anticipate clients' needs and deliver a personal service;
  • Maintain accurate information on weekly sales, new accounts, and contracts;
  • Ensure account management tasks are completed from proposal to closure;
  • Create and maintain client relationships, following up on bookings;
  • Represent the club at trade shows, expos, and functions;
  • Oversee multiple events, ensuring each runs according to plan and schedule;
  • Shift and staff management of events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years sales/event experience in events or hospitality;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Good physical fitness due to physically demanding role;
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach;
  • Strategic thinking skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects;
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of EventPro software advantageous;
  • Fantastic communication skills;
  • RSA and RCG Certificates;
  • Excellent time management and administration skills.

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, quick thinking, commitment to customer service, professional phone manner, and high standard of personal grooming. You will take pride in your appearance and workplace, with the ability to work in a team and autonomously.
