Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities and achieving business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on creating, operating, and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff. They will also be responsible for driving operational synergies across warehouse and packing operations, as well as assisting with customer management and ensuring a high level of professionalism with all stakeholders.

This is a full-time position that requires a senior-level professional with experience in production management and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in similar roles and will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in managing day-to-day activities and achieving business outcomes.
  • Manage operations at the packing and warehouse facilities as required by the Site Manager.
  • Develop and drive a positive team culture through proactive leadership, mentoring, and feedback to site operators.
  • Develop operational strategies that maximize site efficiencies while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
  • Support the Site Manager in managing staff requirements to maximize labour utilization.
  • Maximize allocation and utilization of equipment across activities.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Department of Agriculture requirements at all times.

  • Accredited Officer (AQIS) or willingness to obtain
  • Confined space ticket or willingness to obtain
  • EWP Ticket or willingness to obtain
