
Program Development Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Participation Coordinator to lead our participation programs, including NAB AFL Auskick and school programs. This role will involve working with teachers, schools, and other stakeholders to increase participation and promote inclusive, respectful, and safe environments.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs
- Recruit and manage Auskick and Superkick Coordinators
- Develop and implement regional action plans to target maximum participation impact
- Liaise with teachers and schools to increase School Teacher Members
- Support ongoing training and education for casual staff
- Deliver programs to support transition and retention of Community Footballers
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with children and young people
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Qualifications in Sports Coaching/Management, Recreation, Education or equivalent depth of experience
- A passion for the game of Australian Football
- Tasmanian Driver's License
- Understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products
