Job Opportunity

  • Full-time position based in Logan City, QLD
  • Fixed-term contract until 01/10/2026
  • Paying above award rate plus Super

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The Mental Health Clinician will provide interventions and develop care plans.
  2. You will work autonomously with other clinicians to develop services for individuals with mental health issues and their families consistent with best practice standards and evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration as Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as Social Worker.
  • Experience in mental health service delivery environment.
  • Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating assessment and care planning.
  • Understanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems and programs in community setting.
  • Interpersonal skills showing ability and sensitivity to work with individuals who have or are at risk of developing mental illness.
  • Skills in organisation and time-management including ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Eligible to apply/currently hold Blue Card.
  • NDIS worker screening clearance.
