We are seeking an experienced Contract Support Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in providing comprehensive contract support across multi-million dollar projects.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing claims, variations, contractor compliance, and Contract Administration plans.
- They will also monitor contractor compliance through systems such as Commnia and Gallagher, ensuring valid insurances, licenses, and up-to-date management plans.
- Supporting HSE audits and managing contractor breach tracking, along with development and maintenance of Risk Registers for inclusion in management reporting is another key aspect of the job.
- The Contract Support Specialist will liaise with commercial, finance, procurement, and accounts teams to resolve project issues, including equipment delivery, invoicing discrepancies, and vendor payments.
- Assisting in contractor claim assessments, preparing Payment Certificates, and contributing to project budget reporting, forecasting, and overall financial administration are also essential duties.
- Effective documentation management to meet company standards, assistance with report formatting and data extraction, and coordination of general administrative duties, including expense and travel management, are critical skills required for this position.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
- Experience with Adobe Pro and document control processes is desirable.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and construction project platforms such as Aconex, Asite, or Commnia is beneficial.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage project correspondence and documentation effectively, are vital.
