Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Porter to join our team at The Ville Resort-Casino in tropical North Queensland.

About the Role

The Porter is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by assisting with luggage and valet parking, responding to queries, and ensuring every guest has an authentic experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist guests with luggage and valet parking
  • Respond to guest queries regarding restaurants, hotel rooms, promotions, and events
Requirements:
  • Hold a current Class C Drivers' license with the ability to drive manual transmission
  • Experience in a customer-focused role with a willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Exceptional communication skills with impeccable presentation
  • Physical ability to lift and carry luggage and perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle guests' luggage efficiently and securely
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with a property management system (Opera Cloud advantageous)
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
