Job Description

As an Employability Skills Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by helping them enhance their employability and competitiveness in the local labor market.

You will be responsible for delivering, facilitating, and administering assessments, training, and support services to participants. This will involve promoting our organization and the employability skills training program, supporting participants to identify their skills and abilities, developing career development plans, organizing and planning training programs, and building relationships with local employers and community organizations.

  • Promote the employability skills training program and provide support to participants to enhance their employability.
  • Identify and develop skills and abilities of participants to help them secure employment.
  • Develop and implement career development plans that cater to the needs of participants.
  • Organize, plan, and facilitate training programs that meet the requirements of participants.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community organizations to provide opportunities for participants.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Willingness to complete a criminal history check.
  • Able to pass a working with children check.
  • Availability to work part-time Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
