**Leadership Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to join our school community as a deputy principal.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of instructional leadership, curriculum development, and staff mentoring. They will be responsible for shaping and implementing a contemporary, student-centred curriculum aligned with the school's vision and values.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and leading high-impact teaching practices informed by the Science of Learning, driving improved student outcomes.
- Inspiring and motivating staff to cultivate a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and innovation.
- Championing the wellbeing, safety, and holistic development of every student through a commitment to inclusive and high-quality learning.
We are looking for a passionate educational leader who demonstrates:
- A deep commitment to Catholic education and its mission, identity, and ethos.
- Proven experience in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and staff mentoring.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and build strong relationships.
- A clear, strategic vision for learning that positively impacts student achievement and school improvement.
**Essential Requirements**
The successful applicant must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and have Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School, or be willing to undertake accreditation.
