About the Role

The Part-Time Contract Administrator role is a key position within our team, primarily focused on supporting the operational delivery of our Facility Maintenance Contract in the Bowen Basin. This is a part-time position, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm each week, based in the township of Moranbah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and Induction: Assist with the onsite onboarding and induction of new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Fleet and Staff Management: Maintain accurate records of fleet and staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel Arrangements: Assist with the management of flights and accommodation for staff, ensuring timely and efficient arrangements.
  • Procurement and Finance: Raise and receipt purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Training and Development: Research and identify training and development opportunities for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance and Audits: Assist with the completion of internal staff training audits, ensuring site compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Client Relationships: Represent ISS as a professional, responsive, and committed partner to our clients, working collaboratively to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Administration and Support: Provide administrative support, promoting a positive and proactive approach to all aspects of the role.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar operational environment, with a strong understanding of mine site compliance.
  • Skills: Proficient in Sharepoint, OneDrive, and MS Excel, with strong IT skills in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Proficient typing skills and minute-taking, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
