Strategic Financial Advisor

About the Role:

The Strategic Financial Advisor plays a pivotal role in assisting Lead Advisors with developing and implementing client advice and strategy.

This includes being assigned their own list of clients, working closely with Lead Advisors to provide holistic advice and support, and taking responsibility for client files, documentation of advice, compliance records, and implementation of client strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Lead Advisors to develop complex financial strategies for new and existing clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication and rapport-building.
  • Liaise with super fund and insurance providers to obtain information on clients' policies.
  • Prepare high-quality, accurate, timely, and compliant Statements of Advice (SoAs).
  • Support Lead Advisors in ensuring all aspects of the advice process are conducted ethically and in compliance with policies and laws.
  • Oversee the implementation of advice outlined in SoAs, including preparing application forms, redemption/rollover forms, and liaising with clients.
  • Proactively assist in managing the client review process, including updating client information in Xplan and reviewing recommended strategies.
  • Assist Principal Advisers with financial modeling using XPLAN.
  • Support Lead Advisors with workload management to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support Lead Advisors and the business.
