Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

We seek a strategic financial planning and analysis specialist to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of financial models, forecasts, and budgets that support our operational and strategic goals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior finance leaders to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and provide clear, data-driven insights for informed decision-making.

Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports and analyses.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address key business needs and opportunities.
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to leadership teams.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with financial operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial planning and analysis role.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CPA, CA, or other relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Understanding of not-for-profit or community services sector (particularly disability and child protection).
