About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on providing relief and sustainable resolution to issues within our infrastructure. You will use your expertise in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively prevent repeatable issues.

You will drive initiatives with partner teams to improve the reliability and performance of the infrastructure through improved system design. Additionally, you will drive a culture of intolerance to manual activity which results in a highly automated environment delivering scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide relief and sustainable resolution to issues within our infrastructure.
  • Use expertise in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively prevent repeatable issues.
  • Drive initiatives with partner teams to improve the reliability and performance of the infrastructure.
  • Drive a culture of intolerance to manual activity.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Linux systems.
  • Coding experience, normally Python or JavaScript.
  • Networking skills, IP addressing, routing protocols.
  • Monitoring of systems, applications, and networks.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cloud architecture or web applications engineering.
  • Experience in databases performance, replication, high availability.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical area.
