About this role

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Western Sydney, providing support in the delivery of high-quality services under the supervision and direction of the treating allied health professional.

This is a permanent full-time role working with the team in Western Sydney (supporting clients around Kellyville, Parramatta & Blacktown). Flexible working arrangements and work from home offered to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to allied health professionals in delivering healthcare services to clients
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve client outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery

About you:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working with older people in a community setting
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at work
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence
  • Registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Property Damage Insurance

The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
