Job Overview:

 

The Electrical And Instrumentation Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient operation of our power station. This is a permanent Monday to Friday role with opportunities for professional growth and development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to guarantee plant operation.
  • Support major and minor outages, including planning, scheduling, and hands-on execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using CMMS and diagnostic tools.
  • Prepare work method statements, risk assessments, and manage spare parts and resources.
  • Respond to call-outs and support extended hours during outages, including potential night shifts.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold electrical trade qualifications (essential).
  • Possess experience in power generation or heavy industry (CCGT, coal, hydro, refinery) (desirable).
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of PTW systems and CMMS tools.
  • Demonstrate proven commitment to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
