About the Role

Flinders University is seeking an ICT Audio Visual Officer to join the team. This position will work to support and deliver ICT related services, working closely with the Flinders Information and Digital Services (IDS) team to support the objectives of the university.

The incumbent will be based in Mount Gambier but required to travel to other university campuses, therefore a current SA Driver's License is required for this position.

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Diploma in Information and Communications Technology or a related field, combined with at least two years relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or training, and/or hands-on experience in current ICT practices and technologies
  • General experience and knowledge with the following: Audio Visual/ICT, Windows, Linux, Mac, Cloud-based solutions, cyber security, mobile devices
  • Ability to analyse issues, problem-solve effectively, identify priorities and exercise informed judgement whilst working independently and under pressure, often remotely via telephone and remote desktop tools
  • An understanding of applicable Work Health and Safety requirements and ability to lift and move heavy equipment in accordance with WH&S Manual Handling Guidelines
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills.

  • Staff working in a health care setting are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID in line with the NT Health policy.
  • A current SA Driver's License is required for this position.
