Job Description\

Our client is seeking a Governance Project Officer for a short-term contract based in Adelaide CBD.\

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in researching and advising on governance matters within a government context.\\(Governance Project Officer Responsibilities) The job involves developing, implementing, and evaluating governance, regulatory, and compliance programs with well-developed analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.

\Required Skills and Qualifications\

  • Proven experience conducting research and providing informed advice on governance matters within a government setting.\

  • Strong track record in designing, implementing, and reviewing governance, regulatory, and compliance frameworks and programs.\

  • Highly developed analytical skills with strong attention to detail, enabling the effective evaluation and interpretation of information to draw meaningful conclusions, assess performance outcomes, and review operational effectiveness.\
    \
  • Demonstrated capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively, exercising sound judgement while operating under broad direction.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Having knowledge of governance principles and practices gained from experience in state or local government, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable.
