About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer/Editor to join our team at NITV, a leading provider of Indigenous media in Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that showcases the unique perspectives and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to identify and pitch ideas for new content.
  • Work closely with our digital team to ensure that content is optimized for online platforms and aligns with our digital strategy.
  • Perform editing duties as required, using advanced skills in Adobe Premiere.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced producer with a strong track record of producing high-quality content in a fast-paced environment. You will have a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and a passion for showcasing the unique perspectives and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5+ years' experience in production, with a strong track record of producing high-quality content.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and other editing software.
  • Experience working in regional and remote areas, with tight-knit small production teams.
  • Ability to convey production ideas and concepts in a clear and concise fashion.
