About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer to join our team at NITV, a division of Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of NITV's current affairs program, The Point, and other content as directed by the Executive Producer and Executive Editor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of NITV's current affairs show, The Point, and other content as directed.
  • Research, create, and deliver high-quality content for The Point and other INACA Productions.
  • Script write, fact-check, and field produce as directed.
  • Work closely with the Executive Producer and Executive Editor to research, plan, and produce compelling content for broadcast.
  • Supervise all deliverables, promos, and On Demand content as required.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Producer and Executive Editor to create engaging online content for social media as needed.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Producer with a strong background in television journalism and production. You will have a proven track record of producing high-quality current affairs programming and a deep understanding of Indigenous Affairs. You will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
