Job Role: Transport Team Leader

The role involves coordinating transport of modular buildings and associated materials with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost. Key responsibilities include supervising fleet teams and contractors to ensure transport is conducted in line with statutory requirements and project schedules.

  • Ensure works are completed in line with project timelines.
  • Attend daily pre-start meetings providing input on transport activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback through the design team and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate preferred contractors to provide services in line with project schedules.
  • Manage allocated hours for the team.
  • Arrange and coordinate transport contractors to complete delivery works.

This role will play a key part in coordinating transport activities within our Queensland operation. The successful candidate will have experience in safe loading and unloading of modules for delivery as well as completing relevant documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years of experience in transport.
  • Heavy combination driving license.
  • Experience in transporting oversized loads.
  • Trade background.
  • Strong results orientation and proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to required safety and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills including the ability to identify and implement strategies for improved delivery.
