Job Title: Program Manager

  • Co-design and deliver programs of work targeting system-wide enhancements, collaborating with research leads and internal/external specialists.
  • Apply analytical skills across areas such as identifying requirements/specifications, stakeholder management, project scoping, co-design/development, research data management knowledge, and workflow design.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead/manage the program's lifecycle, developing/reviewing processes within assigned resources/reporting requirements.
  • Oversee program governance with co-investment partners.
  • Identify/manage interaction between programs across major research thematic areas.
  • Maintain/implement/review program operations, including day-to-day management of team members.
  • Develop/implement innovative solutions to problems, providing specialist advice to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated specialist knowledge in agriculture, natural capital, environment, or national digital research infrastructure.
  • Capability in leading high-performing teams.
  • Interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, including influence.
  • Relationship management and consulting skills.
