Coastal Management Coordinator Role

\

The Coastal Management Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive coastal management program for the Tweed Coast.

About the role:

  • Engages and consults with stakeholders to ensure that the coastal management program achieves integrated management across the coastal zone.\
  • Accesses and administers external grants and other sources of funding to undertake coastal management projects.\
  • Community consultation and facilitation of groups is fundamental to achieving the position objectives.\
  • Interacts with all council divisions at all levels, the general public, consultants, interest groups, and public authorities.\
  • Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the program.\
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\\/ul>,
