Job Title: Store Team Member - Cleaning and Trolley Collection

Coles Supermarkets operates over 800 stores across Australia, requiring collaboration from diverse team members in various roles.

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, seamless, and positive shopping experience for customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, including floors, shelving, equipment, team rooms, toilets, and offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a checklist of cleaning tasks across all departments and throughout the facility

• Utilize various equipment and products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors throughout the shop, as well as in team rooms, toilets, and offices

• Collect trolleys from within and around the facility, including the store carpark, regardless of weather conditions

• Work both indoors and outdoors, with autonomy to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements:

• Commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences through enthusiasm, energy, and pace

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic

• Capacity to work independently and follow instructions

• Physical fitness, activity, and energy are essential, as lifting up to 17kgs may be required

• Availability for shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days a week

• Ability to commute outside of public transport operating hours

While prior experience is not necessary, full training will be provided in the use of chemicals, machinery, and safety equipment.
